Want to become a qualified coach and volunteer? Do you enjoy sports?
Would you like to gain more knowledge in the sporting field? And build your portfolio?
The Access to Sports Project has wonderful opportunities for young people to come and join in with our coaching programme.
We are looking for 16-19 year olds to help out with the running of teams, officiating, assisting head coaches at local sessions and help promote / publicize the coaching programme.
As a volunteer you will be given excellent guidance on how to excel in the sports industry with the added bonus of getting trained for FREE. There are a wide range of courses on offer including beginners through to advanced level qualification awards. The courses will provide volunteers with the necessary information empowering them to take more responsibility during their coaching.
Benefits:
So far, the volunteering programme has been growing and the young people who have been engaged have shown great enthusiasm and determination to give back to their community. We take pride in the contact we have with young people and want them to continue their training and development through our project.
If you would like to volunteer / or become a qualified sports coach / sports leader then don’t hesitate to contact the Access to Sports Project.
